Mission

At Laila Luxury Puzzles, we are on a mission to bridge high-quality puzzles, culture, and connection by highlighting talented Muslim artists from all over the world and letting their work shine in the puzzle space.

Meet the Founder

My name is Sana. I've always been a fan of puzzling but I found Laila Luxury Puzzles almost by accident: sitting in hospital waiting rooms while my husband went through treatment for cancer. It had only been six months since I'd unexpectedly lost my sister and I needed something that let my hands stay busy while everything else felt completely out of my control. Puzzling became a way to stay grounded when very little else was steady.

That season of my life forced me to sit with what actually mattered to me: family, faith, and doing work that felt purposeful. I've spent nearly a decade as a licensed mental health therapist and counselor educator so I understand, both personally and professionally, why something as simple as a puzzle can be genuinely healing. I wanted to build a brand around that truth, and around everything else I'd come to value more than ever: my sister's memory, my faith, and the extraordinary talent within the Muslim community that doesn't always get the platform it deserves.

Laila Luxury Puzzles is the result. I am so proud of the Laila-community that continues to grow each day, and I am excited to welcome you into it.

The Meaning Behind "Laila"

As a therapist, I hear about it all the time. The moments that change everything. And while I could always deeply empathize with those experiences, there is no way I could have ever prepared for my own.

Laila was my sister's middle name (the one she chose for herself, anyway). She was lovingly known to everyone as Sara Laila. In 2024, we lost her unexpectedly. My sister is one of the most pure-hearted and creative people I know. Being an artist herself, she had a rare and unique appreciation for artwork and beauty in all things.

Naming this brand, Laila Luxury Puzzles, is my way of carrying her forward. Every puzzle that leaves this business carries her name, and though she is no longer here, I get to honor her life the same way she lived it: healing through art and celebrating the gifts and creativity of others.
